FLAMES is an old-school game that revolves around the 6 characters of FLAMES word. Each character of FLAMES word holds a particular meaning as given below:

• F stands for Friends,
• L is for Lovers,
• A stands for Affairs,
• M is for Marriage,
• E stands for Enemies, and
• S is for Siblings

To play the game you write your and your partner's name on a piece of paper and follow the below steps:

• In step 1, you remove all common letters from both names.
• Step 2 is to count the remaining letters in both words and sum them up, let's say the sum comes out as X.
• In step 3, you delete the letter at X position in FLAMES (go from the left-to-right and start from beginning in case more than 6 letters are left after step-2).
• Step 4 is to repeat step-3 of removing letters until only one letter is left in FLAMES
• The last letter left is the relationship that you will have with your partner.
