The BCCI is the governing body for all forms of cricket in India. The board was formed in December 1928 as a consortium of all Indian state cricket associations and is headquartered in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The first president of BCCI was Grant Govan, and its first secretary was Anthony De Mello.
BCCI is also the highest-earning cricket board globally, and cricket matches with Indian teams are the major source of revenue for other countries and ICC. BCCI is also the organizer of IPL, which is the biggest T-20 cricketing tournament.
